Family Session
Family sessions are one of our most popular session types. This session averages 1 hour depending on the size of your family (immediate or extended) and includes a variety of poses for families, siblings, couples and individuals. Furry friends are welcome too!
These photos can take place outdoors at a location of your choice or inside your home. We can arrange them around an activity (baking cookies, playing at the park, etc.) or have a standard session where I walk you through prompts to help provide a beautiful gallery of images you will cherish forever.
Whether you have a family full of young children, teens or adults, I promise to fully capture your current phase of life.
What to expect from a Family Session
Upon booking your session, I will reach out to help select the perfect location for your photoshoot. I have access to several private locations, as well as public parks, downtown scenes, etc. During this call I will take the time to learn more about you and your family. I like to start each session with a little familiarity between us. This is where you can fill me in on your family dynamic, let me know if a little one may be shy or if your kiddos love photos and will be all about it.
After our initial call, I can be as involved or not involved as you’d like leading up to your photoshoot. Each session includes wardrobe assistance and access to an online styling service. I have found that selecting the perfect outfits can be stressful, but can also make or break your photos, so I am here to help!
Are you afraid your kids and/or spouse won’t be thrilled to take family photos? Don’t sweat it. In my 10 years of experience, I have mastered the art of making the session comfortable and fun. I am keenly aware of people’s body language and know when to act and what to do when it looks like someone may not want to be there. Just get everyone there and I can take care of the rest. :)
My standard turnaround time for family sessions is 2-3 weeks with sneak peeks available within 48 hours.
Immediate Family Session
Session includes access to 30 high-resolution digital images via an online gallery. Immediate family, up to 1 hour depending on family size. This session includes a variety of poses for family, sibling, couple and individual poses. Furry friends are welcome too!
Extended Family Session
The Extended Family Session includes everything you need to capture timeless photos with your grandparents, cousins, etc. This session includes access to 35 high-resolution digital images via an online gallery. The base price is for up to 15 people. Each additional person is $25 and will be added to your remaining balance at the end of your photoshoot.
