What to expect from a Newborn Session

Babies are the biggest blessing from God. Those first few weeks (maybe months) of a baby’s life can be crazy but taking the time to do a newborn session is totally worth it. We will schedule your session within the first month of the baby’s life. This allows you time settle in before getting camera ready.

These sessions typically take two to three hours depending on how comfortable you are and how the baby is responding. The goal for these sessions are for you and your new bundle to be relaxed, stress free and laid back while I capture the beautiful moments you are having.

Upon scheduling your newborn session, I will schedule a consultation with you. This allows me to get to know you a little better to customize your session to your needs. We will stay in touch leading up to your delivery date and will confirm your session date after baby is born.

The in-home lifestyle session will include wardrobe assistance and access to an online styling service for each member of your family, along with wraps and props for the posed photos. We will schedule the time of the session to be during the day to allow for as much daylight as possible, but around your baby’s schedule.

A session guide will be provided upon booking your session.

In-Home Lifestyle Session

This session includes photos with the parents, siblings, fur babies and individual photos of the baby. This can take place in the baby’s nursery, in the living room, in your bedroom and really anywhere there is a good amount of natural light. I will send you tips and tricks for preparing your home for your session, but it really doesn’t take much.

If posed photos are something you would like as well, I can bring my studio set up to your home (backdrops, props, wraps). This includes a limited number of backdrops, props and wraps.

Investment: $300 | $450 with the addition of studio style posed photos.
